Association Exec’s from Columbia Books eMail List

You asked, Bethesda List listened!

Now available! A separate data card that details only eMail counts for Columbia Books ‘ Association Executives.

This is the same source file but Bethesda List did not have separate counts that are much closer to what will be sent when the Do-Not-eMail (Can-Spam compliant) list has been applied to the file.

Of course, Bethesda List is required to run your Do Not Email, or,  opt-out file, across the list, but complex counts will closer to the final number actually sent unless you have lots of names on your Do Not E-mail file.

Here is a link to the data card with the full details:

eMail lists for China Business Professionals

Bethesda List Center has teamed up with BDL Media to make the eMail lists of the subscribers to their eNewsletters available. Most of these subscribers are in China.

These lists are in vertical markets that are sometimes very hard to identify on many lists…. and in most cases, the publications are in English and Chinese versions – so choose your language of promotion.

Also, Bethesda List sends the eMails from China. This means 1) much better delivery from a known and trusted source within China and 2) a significant time delay for North American and European mailers. So plan on a minimum of 3-5 business days to set-up, test and send any promotions.

Here are the Chinese lists available:

China CSR Corporate Social Responsibility in China eNewsletter Subscribers

http://www.bethesda-list.com/datacards/ChinaCSREmail-listrental.htm

China Hospitality News eMail Subscribers

http://www.bethesda-list.com/datacards/ChinaHospitalityeNewsletter-listrental.htm

China Retail eNewsletter Subscribers

http://www.bethesda-list.com/datacards/ChinaRetaileNewsletter-listrental.htm

China Tech News Opt-in eMails

http://www.bethesda-list.com/datacards/ChinaTechNews-listrental.htm

Are you seeing more interest in promotions to China?

Subject Lines in eMail …

What is the most important word in a Subject Line?

As with direct mail,  “You or Your” remains a winner.

Here is an article in eMarketer Digital Intelligence discussing that. Other keywords that work in direct mail are good too.. but.. the word “free” is just a knockout by many servers and their spam filters.

Are those signs of Spring really an improving economy?

Direct marketing has always been on the early edge indicator of the health of the economy. Perhaps things are beginning to show “some green sprouts.” A few things I have noticed.

  • WOMMA announced in their eNewsletter that a survey of Linked-In jobs listings in the Advertising area found about 1,700 jobs being advertised. This may be a big change.
  • Linked In has become a defacto spot to list new jobs. Today, Sears was spotted using Twitter to announce jobs says the LA Times
  • Direct Mail seems to be increasing (or will be) ..we are seeing a slight increase in average order size.  And, the occasional “good order” is beginning to show up again.
  • The Census is using direct mail to increase response to the Census’ fill out and return percentages. Imagine sending close to 100 million+  pieces of mail
  • eMail now seems to be used along with postal to boost response.

What are your signs of how the economy is doing?
